Things that make you go hmmmmmmm...

I was walking up 7th Ave to work this morning and as I passed underneath one of the cities ubiquitous scaffolds I was assaulted by a drop of water right in the middle of the top of my head. Now I can't help thinking.... Was this drop hanging up there just waiting for me to pass underneath? What if I had been stopped by traffic at that last corner? Or if someone walking in front of me slowed me down just a step or 2? Where would that drop have landed? Would it have waited until I was there? Would it have hit someone else? Was that drop destined to land on MY head?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.......
