Things that make you go hmmmmmmm...

I was walking up 7th Ave to work this morning and as I passed underneath one of the cities ubiquitous scaffolds I was assaulted by a drop of water right in the middle of the top of my head. Now I can't help thinking.... Was this drop hanging up there just waiting for me to pass underneath? What if I had been stopped by traffic at that last corner? Or if someone walking in front of me slowed me down just a step or 2? Where would that drop have landed? Would it have waited until I was there? Would it have hit someone else? Was that drop destined to land on MY head?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.......

Women complain that men focus too much on body type when looking for a partner. I will acknowledge that but put to them that they focus too much on a man's height when they are looking for a partner. Case in point: I recently ventured into the world of online dating. Having been separated for over 2 years with no reconciliation forthcoming I decided it was time to "get out there". I posted a profile on Yahoo! Personals and was immediately matched with over 170 prospective partners. Almost all of these women preferred a partner at least 5'7". Where does that leave the rest of us? And, these women were all less than 5'5" themselves. One admitted to only 4'11". *SIGH*

Happy New Year!

Haven't written in a while but a lot has been going on. Where to start... I am, obviously, not the best blogger. I can start a post but I cannot seem to finish one. So here we are. New Year's Eve. Another year is over. Is it just me or are these years just flying by? It seems like just yesterday that I was sitting here on New Year's Eve commenting on how the previous year just flew by. So what does this all mean? I would like to think that this year I would be a better blogger but it just seems like I always have way too much to do. But I can try. So here's to a new year!
